The Slope Registration Online System (SROS) is developed for GEO staff, government officers from the Works divisions, and geotechnical practitioners to submit registration or updating request on features under public development, or features that have been checked by District Geotechnical Engineers in GEO, to the Slope Information System via Internet.

Private development submissions prepared by geotechnical consultants shall be sent to the Buildings Department following the current practice. Submitting such applications via SROS will not be processed.

You are required to register as a user before accessing the SROS, and GEO reserves the rights for granting the access rights of the system based on operational need. Your account will normally be activated within 2 working days.

CEDD ensures that all personal data submitted through this homepage are handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Unless permitted or required by law, CEDD will not disclose your personal data to any third parties without your prior consent. All personal data you provide to CEDD via the SROS are secured, and access to them is restricted to authorised personnel only.

The minimum system requirements for operating the SROS are given below:
(a) Internet Explorer 9 or above,
(b) Chrome version 76,
(c) Firefox 3.0,
(d) Safari 3.0 on Windows
